Although this scene looks nice and calm it was far from it only 5 minutes beforehand. The storms during this day were some of the most intense i have witnessed and not to far to the north actually dropped a tornado which seriously damaged a usually quite country town!
After a week of heavy rainfall i ventured down to the Gold Coast to explore the many waterfalls that can be found in the hinterland. I arrived at Curtis Falls in the early morning to beat the crowds and was rewarded with this scene all to myself!
Found in the stunning Cradle Mountain- Lake Saint Clair National Park, the Dove Lake Boat-Shed is one of Australia's most sought after landscape photography spots. This particular morning i was blessed with some nice colour and a bit of reflection to top it off!
While the title may suggest there were no people of the beach this particular morning it is not entirely true! I had to wait for that perfect moment when the few people that were around had moved out of sight before i took the shot!
This is to date the best sunset i have captured since taking up photography! This was taken up in the Noosa Hinterland one winter afternoon. This tree has since been struct by lightning which makes this image unique!
On a weekend away over at North Stradbroke Island i was greeted with amazing calm conditions on Moreton Bay. This made for stunning reflections during the late afternoon with this nice old sailboat making a great subject!
